Room 623     Android Phones and Tablets
The Droid cell phone from Motorola has the "new" Google OS (called "Android") like more and more new phones. Most phone companies now have some phones with Android, some under $100.  This Forum is appropriate for anyone with an Android OS phone. There are 10,000 programs for Android and many are free. We discuss our favorites and how to use the new Cut and Paste feature in 2.1.  Handouts are available prior to the class at www.mdewebs.com/Android.

Room 624     Photography & Photoshop "Wizards"

This forum begins with tips on using a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera and lessons on photo techniques such as lighting, posing and composition.  It will be followed with demonstrations of intermediate and advanced Photoshop techniques -- such as Adobe Camera Raw, Layer masks, Blending modes, Actions, Adjustment layers, and lots of other handy features in Photoshop.  Students may bring in problem images for the class to work on or show other students their techniques.  And there will be time for questions and answers.  Some knowledge of your DSLR and Photoshop will be helpful but not required to attend.  Some class notes are provided.
