The Sarasota PC Users Group (SPCUG) holds a regular monthly meeting 12 months in
year on the first Wednesday of the month at the Sarasota Middle School on
Ashton Road. Each meeting has a computer oriented presentation starting at 7
PM and running for an hour. Some of our presenters have been Microsoft,
Verizon, Comcast, Apple, as well as other leaders in computer technology.
Starting
at 5 PM SPCUG hosts a series of forums which are small classes, hosted by a
knowledgeable SPCUG member, that run for an hour each, and cover such topics
as OpenOffice, Windows 7 for Beginners, Photoshop Elements, Databases, Tech
Support, Quicken/Turbo Tax, Genealogy,
All
of our forums that are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month meeting night
are free to members and guests.
